History
Prestige Graphics Trading was established in 1988 by Abdul Jabbar selling Paper products and other consumables. We acquired the agency for Horizon in 1988 and for Komori in 1989. After the first installation of a Komori four-colour machine at Emirates Printing Press in 1990, there was no looking back. This was greatly due to Komori and Horizon’s commitment to the highest quality printing and finishing products – they helped Prestige become one of the major players in the press equipment game. Having major Japanese press equipment manufacturers for the main areas of printing – press and post-press – earned Prestige a nickname as ‘the Japanese Embassy for Printing in Dubai’.
Current
Today, Prestige enjoys a position as a prominent supplier of a variety of equipment to meet all printing demands and is able to provide a reliable and effective solution for all concerns. The proof is in the vast number of installations of our products extending to the entire Middle East.
This is supported by our experienced and knowledgeable service staff always willing to meet any needs that may arise. In fact, the engineers are constantly undergoing training to stay up-to-date with current technologies and to be familiar with relevant issues in printing. They are supplemented by the ever-vigilant spare-parts team who are forever working to help presses maximize utility.
Exhibitions
Prestige is a firm stature at Dubai’s main exhibition, Gulf Print and Pack. We also take part in all major exhibitions such as DRUPA, IGAS, IPEX and many others. Prestige works closely with the manufacturers to enhance customer’s visits to the exhibitions to allow them to fully explore all the options available to them and to help educate them in the innovations in printing.
